TrustRadius allows us to scale customer proof that we can use in marketing and sales enablement. It also allows us to identify advocates for other opportunities.
  • The platform is relatively easy to learn.
  • The account management support has been stellar.
  • The custom questions for our software allow us to gather customer proof that validates our marketing claims.
  • While account management is eager to support any issue quickly it would be nice to have more resources to answer quick questions/how tos.
  • I wish there was a way to systematically incentivize reviewers to not be anonymous.
  • Some reviewers leave bare bones feedback. It would be ideal if there were ways to ensure reviewers provide enough context and information so that we get solid quotes from each review.
  • I hope TrustRadius continues to improve their SERP so we see benefit not only from quotes gathered but customers searching for reviews.

We're still in the earlier stages of deploying customer proof to test on things like landing pages but we've gathered some really high quality content so far I'd be surprised if we didn't see a lift in conversion.
We considered a paid G2Crowd account. While I think they both have their strengths we were primarily focused on gathering long-form software reviews that detailed customer's experience with us. We had more flexibility in customization of the content and the retargeting pixel was an interesting benefit although I think it will become more useful as traffic to TrustRadius increases.
It has allowed us to identify advocates and collect public customer proof easily and effectively.
Custom questions allow us to focus on getting customer proof for value props that are prominent in our marketing campaigns. The content tends to be long-form with the exception of sections like ROI and Pros/Cons. We'd benefit more from having those asked in a way that the customer provided more context in the quote.
TrustRadius is a great tool for any B2B software company looking to build a library of customer proof.
