Overall Satisfaction with Ubiquiti Networks
We replaced our Fortinet integrated wireless access points with Ubiquiti aps and haven't had any issues with roaming or being able to quickly configure them.
Pros
- Provides seemless handoffs between access points throughout the building.
- The controller software is very intuitive and well developed.
- The ascetics are very sleek and clean.
Cons
- More training on the edgerouter products
- Better compatibility list for third party products
- Less time trying to troubleshoot wireless issues
- Don't need to completely integrated into one ecosystem, as they play well with other network devices
Completely replaced our Fortinet Wireless LAN after they were unusable without the FortiGate router.
