Overall Satisfaction with UKG Pro
UKG is our Payroll, HRIS, time system, recruiting onboarding, talent management, and compensation.
Pros
- Payroll is consistent.
- Performance management is easily done by a vast range of employees.
- Once established data exchange work flawlessly.
Cons
- Onboarding and recruiting need an environment that is more stable and dependable.
- Core Benefits could be enhanced to allow OE and LE events via the mobile app.
- Service and support need to be increased; days and weeks now, when we first went live, it was minutes and hours.
- Adapting all version of time management into one or two versions, at no cost to the customer would allow the resources from UTA, UTM and WFM Classic to be directed to future enhancements and would allow support services to be increased for the 2 remaining platforms.
- My company acquired another company, and with a UKG partner, we were able to bring them online in UKG within two months of the acquisition date.
- When COVID sent us remote, we could configure custom fields to track vaccination status.
- The C-suite can get custom reports done in minutes, or ours, where our previous HRIS would have taken days to accomplish, as data would have had to have been exported to Excel and then manipulated inside Excel.
- UKG has allowed to go virtual paper free as both a candidate and employee.
We utilize workflow approval, removing the need for Paper "PDF" forms to approve processes such as termination, change in status, and more. Dashboards have been generated so that HRIS team members can view items such as document acknowledgments, performance review status, and % complete without having to look at each policy manually.
UKG has allowed our company to process year-end adjustments ahead of time, with the gross-up calculations stored via BI for importing after the final regular pay has been processed, saving hours and weekends typically spent doing this. Automated reports and alerts inform HRIS partners when data type conflicts arise, such as part-time employees having full-time benefits and vice versa. This allows for immediate correction and prevents hours of undoing benefits enrollments with our providers.
