Overall Satisfaction with UKG Pro

We utilize UKG for payroll, benefits, core, and we are trying to implement the compensation module. We do not use the ATS.

Pros

  • Reporting
  • Onboarding
  • Burst emails and homepage optimization

Cons

  • ATS is missing key features like customizing requisitions, applications, and offer letters
  • Effective dating - one of the main reasons we purchased UKG was for the effective dating and it has never worked for us. We are now being told we need to purchase Ready for the effective dating issues we have. Our TA team has to go into the system and manually approve salary changes every other Wednesday because if it's approved prior to that then they go into effect immediately regardless of the effective date.
We have removed some administrative tasks like sending out birthday cards, anniversary dates, etc.
Because the system does not speak to each module like it should. There is a lot of manual work when employees transfer to different job titles, leaders, etc. Effective dating does not work

If you have someone that is really tech savvy to learn the business intelligence side of the reporting to build out what you need. if you are a much smaller organization than we are.
