We are using UltiPro as our HRIS platform for payroll, benefits, and HR. It is very user-friendly and easy to use compared to other HRIS platforms that I have used in the past. It is very intuitive and employees are able to quickly find the information that they are looking for with little to no difficulty.
- The system is intuitive in regards to where you go to accomplish different tasks - the options are clearly labeled.
- The reporting features are fairly robust once you become familiar with the Cognos tools - you can create a custom report from scratch in minutes.
- The arrears function could become more user-friendly by allowing you to future-date arrears and/or specify how many pay cycles you would like for an arrears collection to take place, to be able to put a negative arrears in the system under the benefit deduction, etc.
- Employees are able to easily find what they are looking for in the system (self-service), increasing efficiency
- HR Pyramid
HR Pyramid was more robust, had more useful canned reports, and flexibility in benefits/payroll set up. It allowed future dating of items, unlimited combination of how to collect arrears (over dates, across payroll cycles, allowed to adjust the employer contribution in arrears, etc.).
