Our entire company utilizes a Unitrends Backup Appliance for our backup and recovery needs.
- Ease of use
- Bare-metal recovery
- Ability to host VMs locally on the appliance
- User interface still needs some refinement (but the HTML5 UI is a welcome improvement over the Flash one)
- Capacity information is still sometimes unclear
- Recovery of deleted files
- Reduced overhead for managing backups
Having a dedicated appliance provided us with a simple and reliable platform for our backups.
