Overall Satisfaction with Vasion Print
We administer the addition of new printers to users in our high school if they are needing to print to different printers around the building. We also monitor and restock supplies that are out or parts that have degraded and need to be replaced. We provide support for around 150 users around the entire school.
Pros
- deploying new printers
- moving printers from one room to another
- monitoring the status of parts/components
- Ease of Install for Faculty/Staff
Cons
- UI can be a little confusing at times
- Have things laid out in a more user friendly manner
- Ease of deployment for users
- ease of adding/removing machines
- keeping up with the toner/supplies and their health
- Fewer calls for help adding a new printer
- Fewer times of printers being completely out of supplies
This system allows us to give the power to the users themselves with some support from us whenever they are having issues. If they need to add or remove a new device, they have the ability to do that themselves instead of relying on us - their trusty tech support - to do it for them.
I haven't used anything else like vasion print so this system is a first and it is awesome!

Using Vasion Print
100 - Allowing Faculty and Staff at a high school to manage and add printers/copiers around the building. Helps us monitor the supplies and overall function of many printers around a large building.
2 - People who are somewhat tech savvy. We get a lot of teachers who have trouble finding where to add the printers but once we show them where, they find it super easy to actually add them and install drivers.

- Having the permissions to deploy specific printers to specific devices
- Granting different people different permissions for managing their respective printers around the school

Ease of Use. We need teachers who are focused on many other things to be able to use the printers and not have to worry about the functionality
I am not part of the selection process but I think it has been great for our school and schools around the district. We'd be looking for something very similar if we were to ever switch.

We did not purchase it. Not sure why, that is a decision above my pay grade lol
The system works so well that I truly haven't needed support from Vasion.

- Being able to see the location of the printers on our building map and move them easily if we need to move them
- I can't think of anything. As a tech person, it is pretty streamlined and easy to use!
