Overall Satisfaction with Vasion Print

Use Cases and Deployment Scope

Across our almost 1000 user-facing endpoints, Vasion Print (PrinterLogic) has made it incredibly easy for anyone to click the tray icon and drill down within the tree to quickly and intuitively find the printer they're looking for. Gone are the days of dealing with driver issues, digging into Windows printer settings, and browsing slow and clunky directories. It's been a great boon to our enterprise.

There's nothing I'd specifically call out for additional development.

Printer Driver Management - it's out of our hands and off our plates.

Single pane of glass for IT staff.
Gains in productivity and deeply cut into wasted time for IT Staff and End-Users.
End-Users love the product and platform.

Usability

In all honesty, our users are not the most technical people, so going from IT Staff having to remote into their machines for each request to now being able to add printers on the fly has been a game-changer, both for us as admins and for the users. The analytics for IT Staff are also very good and more than we currently use or need.

Print Management Impact

To reiterate, the self-reliance piece is really the selling point here. Users can manage their own printers without having IT remote in. This frees up their and our time for other important work. We've also been able to finally retire our Corporate Office print servers, which had been on our list forever.

Vision Print is a much simpler deployment and a better fit for our use case.

Likelihood to Recommend

This is an excellent platform for anyone looking for global management of printers, including analytics, end-user self-empowerment, and simplification of printers at large. Giving my users the ability to self-install printers and not having to remote into each machine has been a great boon to our enterprise and has freed up a considerable amount of time for HelpDesk staff.
