Overall Satisfaction with Veeam Backup for AWS

We currently use Veeam Backup for AWS to backup our EC2s and as an integral part of meeting our SLAs as a fall back mechanism in the event of any failures or anomalies.

Pros

  • It helps us for point-in-time recovery of an EC2
  • It helps us to recover the databases both as to preserve before the deployments
  • It helps us as storing base line images prior to major releases or system upgrades

Cons

  • Difficult to implement data deduplication
  • Lack of good support for cloning of tasks
  • Difficult to troubleshoot backup errors
  • It cut the backup times by 90%
  • Enhanced the success rates of backups up to 100%
  • It cut the risk of business disruption from unplanned downtime.
It complements our strategies to keep the environments easily recoverable in the event of failures and roll backs.
This is helpful to preserve our Mircrsoft 365 solution usage.
