Overall Satisfaction with Veeam Backup & Replication

We use Veeam Backup & Replication for the school districts we serve. We provide them with a means to write their backup copy jobs to a repository that we host at our facilities, thus giving them an off-site disaster recovery solution in the event of an on-prem backup failure.

Pros

  • Standardization among many different backup applications.
Over 900 physical and virtual servers are being protected by Veeam B&R.
We have been able to make use of DELL EMC Isilon storage for Veeam backup copy jobs coming from our component school districts.
Veeam Backup & Replication has become the standard solution that we are recommending for any of our customers that want to make use of our off-site disaster recovery solution.
Veeam is a must-have for backing up any type of virtual server environment. It works very well with VMWare or Microsoft HyperV technologies and has the ability to write to many different types of storage devices.
