Veeam Backup & Replication
Overall Satisfaction with Veeam Backup & Replication
Veeam is deployed as a backup solution to my organization's Unified Communication platforms running on VMWare Hypervisors.
It provides for a full virtual machine backup and recovery of our environment. The product has good support for backup repositories but could stand to integrate with more SAN systems that may not be industry leading. Although optional file protocols are available to provide for more compatibility.

- Security of backups.
- Comfort of reliability and support.
Past experience and use of the product drove the decision to deploy in my current organization. Veeam also has a great product reputation and development roadmap for continued support of emerging technologies and/or system revisions.
We have not benefitted as of yet due to the nature of our industry regulations and organization culture where we are only starting to utilize cloud solutions. Also we have more strict security practices than many businesses thus lending to challenges supporting cloud services.
My organization hasn't benefitted from NAS or File Share protection but I have used Veeam for this purpose at other organizations.
