Overall Satisfaction with Vena Solutions

Vena is being used by the whole organization mainly for budgeting, planning, and financial reporting. The biggest problem Vena addresses is the sharing of information with the ability to drill into transactions. This reduces the amount of time Finance has to research and advise on the information. It can also provide ad hoc reporting and combine different data to present useful information for users.

  • Financial information access.
  • Reporting is completely in Excel (could be a high learning curve for non-finance).
  • Cost per user for small businesses.
  • Data modeling knowledge is helpful.
  • Greater financial knowledge of non-business personnel.
  • More in-depth budget creation.
  • Greater accountability.
Financial information and budget information. Working knowledge of the data model prior to set up would be very helpful. Making changes after the fact can be painful.
