We use it to trigger marketing efforts based on more accurate video consumption. For example, if someone watches 15% of a video, we add them to a particular engagement program to nurture them over time, or trigger an email with a personalized offer.

Anyone using video as a tactic in their marketing strategy should be using Vidyard rather than YouTube. Person-level reporting data is invaluable and much more useful for informing your marketing strategy than all-up metrics.
