Vidyard is worth the $.
Overall Satisfaction with Vidyard
We use Vidyard to increase engagement with our customers. From introduction emails to quick check-ins to full explainer videos, Vidyard makes it easy to "show up" in our customer's inbox in a way they don't usually expect and often appreciate.
Pros
- Quick to get started, right in Chrome browser
- Branding helps maintain consistency with our website and other materials.
- Analytics lets you know if your customers are watching in real-time.
Cons
- More details about who's watching would be a good improvement e.g. where
- More control over mic and camera (would be awesome not to just have to use the defualt)
- Made it easy to encourage team members to include video on the process.
- No training time. Just click and go.
Soapbox allows for more control of the production and has a slightly slicker landing page for the videos but Vidyard wins in the value department. I haven't found that my customers really cared about the landing page for the quick vids, just the email they get with the animated thumbnail and the content of the video wows them.
