Overall Satisfaction with Vidyard
Our company was first made aware of this tool around May 2020 as a means to provide our customers personalized support and build relationships at a distance. For myself, it allows me to show a customer how to complete the actions they are trying to complete with real examples in a simple video. I work with a lot of these questions and use Vidyard at least once a week.
- Customization of static or animated video.
- Real time data.
- Allows me to effectively demonstrate actions to the customer's understanding.
- I now have the premium version, but I'm not sure how to access some of the tools I was told are now available. Specifically, the annotation tools that I can use while recording videos. If I do have them, I have not figured out where they are.
- Increased customer confidence in our platform.
- Increased turnaround time with assistance provided to instructors (it is easier to record a video than it is to prepare a personalized series of screenshot tutorials).
It is a very intuitive tool that helps me every week. I give a 9 instead of a 10 because I have not yet found the annotation features promised to me with the upgrade that I am a part of in my company, but this tool has made my job easier. It has helped me more effectively support my customers.
Our company chose Vidyard, but honestly, after I learned about this tool and started using it, I would have chosen Vidyard over the others. It's easy to use. I love the plugin in my Chrome. It has a more intuitive UI/UX than the others and better analytics (even in the free version) than what I had encountered prior.

- Connecting with customers by showing face.
- Using the screenshare + camera recording to show my face and the specific steps.
- In my line of business, we have to be on guard not to infringe upon privacy, and there are cases, (especially with student data) where I have to choose a live meeting with instructors over providing them a personalized recording.
