Use Cases and Deployment Scope

We use Visier to provide our HR users with in-the-moment data from across our various HR systems to make more data-driven decisions. It helps us answer business questions on the fly from executives and helps us target areas that require deeper research. We haven't rolled it out to all managers at this time primarily because we don't have enough internal HR support to answer their questions, but we would like to in the future.

(Positive) eliminated at least one HRIS reporting role to do other work
Difficult to measure this, but it has helped us be more data-driven and responsive to business needs

UltiPro

We haven't seen any major competitor to Visier in the market that meets or surpasses Visier; UltiPro has some reporting functionality but it requires customization.

Likelihood to Recommend

Visier is great to get your reporting and analytics team out of constantly providing the same data to HR and the broader business, as well as having to develop dashboards in-house using a tool like Business Objects, Tableau, or PowerBI (which can require a few months' lead time) by instead enabling your users to get the data they need and visualize it how they see fit. Visier helps you quickly pinpoint what areas require additional research, and it makes it abundantly clear where you have opportunities to improve.

Visier is less useful if you do not have any historical data, or if the majority of your data collection/HR data generation processes are poor because you will immediately be able to drill into the quality (or lack thereof) of your data as well.
