Overall Satisfaction with Vultr
As HardcoreDevs we use Vultr as reseller, providing web services for LATAM clients.
The service is stable, well priced and has a fast / accurate response from support when needed.
Should improve on PR since the VC backing doesn't help them with reputation between peers.
They have lots of locations, including the ones we require the most: Chile and Brazil.
It's missing some features for those regions:
Object Storage and SSD for Block Storage.
The HDD Block Storage in Chile is fast enough and reliable.

- Rarely some servers become unstable and reboot.
- Block Storage gets corrupted when the attached server goes down.
- Object Storage at 6 USD for 1Tb was amazing pricing, sad to see it increasing to 18 USD.
- The Uptime is great, almost no downtime in years helped us to build trust with our customers.
- Debian OS Image is fast to deploy and configure, scaling fast and easy with tools like Ansible.
- Crypto payments helped us reduce the credit card fee.
vCPUs are well priced (a little below the competition) while still offering fast and reliable resource allocation.
Object Storage was half the competition's price, easily the best choise.
Choosing the location at the same price for any VPS helped us to serve our customers no matter where in the world.

As we grow, Vultr allowed us to deploy and ensure fast reliable services.
- Akamai Connected Cloud, DigitalOcean, Hetzner Storage Box, Amazon S3 (Simple Storage Service) and Oracle Cloud Infrastructure
Linode: Similar pricing, changed our business over to Vultr to save credit card fees by using Crypto.
Digital Ocean: Fast and reliable, same pricing didn't stay because the payment methods (Similar case to Linode)
Hetzner: Good pricing, good reputation, limited locations.
Amazon S3: Limited free tier, incredible expensive after reaching said limits.
Oracle: Same as Amazon with bigger free tier.
