AuthPoint: Easy to Use and a Great Value
Overall Satisfaction with WatchGuard AuthPoint
We use AuthPoint as our primary 2FA solution, securing access to both internal and externally facing resources across our entire org. We use AuthPoint for essentially all of our multifactor authentication needs.
- Push-based 2FA
- LDAP and AD Integration
- Centralized Cloud Management
- Dark Mode for the mobile app
- More reliable notification handling
- Self-service missing token capability
- Better Azure AD support
- AuthPoint's cost and ROI compared to alternatives like Duo is awesome.
- Implementation is generally easy and very supportable.
- Some better self-service options would be nice. Users sometimes forget their phones and calls to the Help Desk could potentially be avoided.
Cloud management makes it easy to handle a lost phone or disabled user from anywhere. Less hardware to manage helps our business focus on what's important to us.
Self-activation is generally well-accepted. Users that have concerns about installing company-provided software on their personal devices have hardware tokens available as an option.
AuthPoint's support for both SAML and ADFS integration greatly simplifies credential management for multiple applications. We've been able to link most of our applications to AuthPoint and secure them using a single login, which really saves time when on- and off-boarding users.
