Use Cases and Deployment Scope

We use WatchGuard AuthPoint to act as the MFA tool for our business which allows our users who login to login securely and not have to worry about any security lapses that could potentially be very damaging to our business. The App is very straight forward and the pricing is just right.

Outcomes

It definently has lowered the requests to our technicians for password reset requests. For a lot of the instances it has been very plug and play and the customers love it, many of whom now need the product as part of the Cyber Security Insurance.

TCO

I think it is great value having an all encompassing solution for us to use and our customers. We use WatchGuard AuthPoint for all of our firewall installs whether for us internally or our customers. The all encompassing solution lowers our costs and the costs to our customers.

Credential Management Protections

We use it for our customers for a password manager.

We had one customer who got attacked via brute force and we were able to see that some of their information was vulnerable. Luckily we had everything in place with the Firewall and MFA

I think it is very well suited for small to medium business. We are only a staff of 10 but now we use it for our remote technicians so they can login to our servers and perform remote sessions. We fell secure with this and not as exposed as using basic RDS sessions
