Use Cases and Deployment Scope

We use WatchGuard for our entire company network. The WatchGuard device provides an extra layer of network security by acting as a firewall and content filter, and give us the option of deploying a VPN in the future. By being proactive about security and using a network security appliance like the WatchGuard we reduce the risk posed by hackers and malware.

Usability

I'm a strong believer in network devices like the WatchGuard which can be configured via a standards complaint web browser interface. WatchGuard have done a good job making basic setup easy.

Likelihood to Recommend

The WatchGuard device is well suited for a home or small to medium business that needs an easy to configure network security solution. The specific model we use may not be suitable for a large network, but I know WatchGuard has a number of models and configurations available.
