Overall Satisfaction with WatchGuard Network Security
It is used across the organization at various locations as a security layer and for branch connectivity. It addresses compliance and data security as well as providing secure, easily configured and managed connectivity solutions for all of our users at various locations.
Pros
- Their configuration and management interfaces are very user-friendly.
- Their support is top notch in response, knowledge, and availability.
- They have an extensive knowledgebase that enables users to find the answers to most issues themselves.
Cons
- I honestly can't think of any.
- It has enabled us to quickly and efficiently setup external locations of various sizes without having to purchase several appliances.
- It keeps our client data and network traffic secure.
N/A I didn't handle purchasing but there was a third party vendor involved. I just don't remember their name.
It is very cost effective, providing services under a single license/appliance where other companies require multiple devices and licenses for the majority of their products.
Similar in security and ease of use, and while the Cisco appliances offer a more granular, customizable interface the services offered per cost may be a little out of range for smaller businesses/organizations.
