Overall Satisfaction with WatchGuard Network Security

WatchGuard supports our whole organization. All of our data flows through WatchGuard. It protects our employees on one end and our data on the other. We've been using WatchGuard for about five years and we've had a flawless experience. We have a lot of sensitive data on clients, and it's nice to know we are in good hands with WatchGuard.

  • Software license is rather expensive
  • Power consumption is always an issue - we are going green
  • No downtime
  • More productive employees
  • Less internet trouble
We worked with CIT out of Arden Hills, MN. They were great to work with, happy to have it installed on-site. We enjoyed working with them and we would recommend them to anyone else looking for an IT company or a managed services company. I think we had it delivered and they installed it. Twice!
Implementation was pretty easy, though I didn't have direct access to what the techs were doing the whole time. Then we also paused our service for a year while we were remote, and getting a new subscription and everything was easy-peasy. We just had it installed again in our new space. Yay!
At first, it was confusing that something could be both hardware and software, but now it makes sense. It hasn't been overly intrusive in that our employees all feel unencumbered to view all of the internet all the time. Invisibility and behind the scenes are two things we really like about it.

We use it for all data in and out of our facility, so it seems like any situation where a person needs security in an office environment, it would be good. We've got a domain and an Azure server and a VPN, and so we're all seamlessly connected with the help of WatchGuard. It may not be appropriate for 100% remote work?
