Use Cases and Deployment Scope

Here at TelAffects, we use WatchGuard Network Security, to protect our network from cyberattacks on our servers, windows pcs, and Chromebooks. We also use it to direct web traffic to the correct pages and stop users from accessing web pages that are not company-approved or not suitable for a working environment.

Pros and Cons

WatchGuard Network Security appliances are sized based on throughput & capacity, with even the smallest firewalls having advanced security features.
Licensing model is flexible based on need.
The fact that you can register your device in the portal by serial number and ascribe policies and services to your access point.

There is not much to dislike sometimes if any new feature is needed. Submitting the request will get the ball rolling to add the feature.
It takes a little bit of work to set up personal allow-lists and exclusions using RegEx to allow things that ordinarily should be blocked.
It has a slightly high cost compared to other competitors, even though it has much more developed features.

Return on Investment

Positive all the way , We have prevented so many cyber attacks.
Positive for ROI simply because we don't get cyber attacked.
WatchGuard is well priced with giving us peace of mind about or network.

Worked directly through WatchGuard. I wasn't part of the purchasing process. The system was already in place when arrived at TelAffects. The service that I've been here for has been amazing. We ordered more access points and firebox and the customer service and the step-by-step help were outstanding.

N\A We've only used WGNS. We considered using AWS but they're way behind on features.

Here at TelAffects, WatchGuard Network Security is used to efficiently control the use of our network, With being able to control the network we block daily cyber-attacks and phishing schemes to our employees. We also use it to allow remote users to VPN to our network to work more efficiently.
