Overall Satisfaction with WatchGuard Network Security

From the perimeter firewall to endpoint security, WatchGuard is used throughout the organization to address many of our network and business needs.

Pros

  • Continuous Improvement
  • Perimeter Network Security
  • Usability

Cons

  • Price
  • Integration
  • Features are only specific to WatchGuard products
  • For our scenario, WatchGuard products cost 32% less than similar models by other manufacturers; including support/maintenance contracts
  • The failover and SD-WAN functions of the WatchGuard product allowed for a seamless transition between ISPs while maintaining critical uptime.
Plan your policies and network infrastructure accordingly to simplify the transition.
This reduced our overall cost for multiple products down to a single manufacturer.
Comparatively the products provide the same features and functionality; however, the WatchGuard product came in at a lower TCO.
