Overall Satisfaction with WatchGuard Network Security

We are using WatchGuard to manage the internal network, for security, and logging the traffic records. We have two separate networks inside the property. The first one is for employees and the second one for guests via wifi connections. Also, we are logging traffic records, which is required by law.

Pros

  • Splitting networks.
  • Antivirus with sandbox
  • VPN

Cons

  • Traffic logging (required by law in Turkey).
  • Limiting the connected devices bandwidth.
  • Automatic updates.
  • We haven't got any incoming from our wifi so there is no return of investment.
  • We are using watchguard firewalls because of user friendly and we get used to use.
  • There is no positive or negative impact at all.
Our partner of purchases is Servisport. They are the main reason for choosing WatchGuard again. We are extremely happy to work with them.
That is beneficial for us. The only thing is logging support. We have to buy another program for logging.
We tried 3, or for different brands, WatchGuard has the most user-friendly interface for us. And our support Servisport company gives us very good service from the first day.

Actually, for Turkey users, the mandatory specialty is logging. We have to log all traffic details here. Additionally, the hot spot must be improved. As a hotel, some days, over 200 devices are connected to our wifi. With a better hot spot and maybe a more flexible band with a limitation option, the device is more useful.
