Use Cases and Deployment Scope

Collaboration, video conferences with ENISA and other Security communities.

Pros and Cons

Smooth user interface
Very good and scalable video streaming
Flexible audio options.

Faster time to load the meeting.
Relatively high battery consumption.

Return on Investment

Since we are using the app as client, for collaboration, any tangible ROI would be attributed to the results of the collaboration - effective delivery of projects and other team activities.

We are using Microsoft technology as well - Microsoft Teams (O365). That products it lacks scalability for video conferencing and have issues with the audio and video optimization. However Microsoft Teams have significant strengths in file sharing, versioning, collaborative work on shared documentation, etc. Also Teams have embedded calendar functionality.

Support Rating

I don't have experience with the support of the app. In this case I cannot rate the overall support for Webex App.

Usability

The Webex application is very well suited for attending webinars and multinational conferences online with multiple participants, where specific moderating features are needed. It helps organizers to granularly manage participants' options to raise hands, write messages to specific presenters, Questions and Answers, etc. I have used it at several high end mobile smartphones and I consider the overall usability as quite good.

Likelihood to Recommend

The Webex application is very well suited for attending webinars and multinational conferences online with multiple participants, where specific moderating features are needed. It helps organizers to granularly manage participants' options to raise hands, write messages to specific presenters, Questions and Answers, etc. Less appropriate scenario would be related to 1-to-1 communications.
