Overall Satisfaction with Webex App

The organization where I work usually meets in Teams. I would only use Webex for moderated conference calls when I am a paid moderator. I only take care of moderating and am not involved in a technical setup. The overall experience is good, but nothing really stands out.

Pros

  • Devices are recognized easily
  • I can switch between speakers/headsets.
  • Communications among panelists works well.

Cons

  • Compared to zoom, I think the user experience is not as good.
  • I am not familiar with more detailed options; maybe they are too hidden: how do I integrate Slido better?
  • Not a fan of a mobile app. Maybe needs some improvement.
  • Brand efficiency: with good content, Webex helps improve a service brand (good online panel for subscribers).
  • Reduce costs: no need to rent a public space for digital events.
  • Slow adoption is a problem among attendees.

Slido is the best tool for conference feedback, online, live, and hybrid. I don't use it with Webex, though, as chat and questions are usually enough. As a moderator, I also do not decide od extra tools, probably Slido costs extra. (Our company pays for Slido but not for Webex, which is only used as a moderator).

It is best suited for invitation-only paid online events with a professional moderator and someone who takes care of the technical issues. The downside I see is that people are less familiar with Webex than other platforms. This creates a barrier. Also, It would help if transcription supported Slovenian. It is less appropriate for events and meetings in Slovenian.
