Overall Satisfaction with Webex (formerly Webex Teams)

Webex is used throughout the organization and even by the company contractors working for the company. While MS Teams is increasingly replacing Webex in my organization, Webex is still more efficient in collaborating with colleagues, scheduling large-scale meetings, conducting surveys and polls, take live questions and answers, and more.

Pros

  • Large scale meetings can be easily conducted.
  • Live sessions are easy to carry out with surveys, polls and Q&A.
  • Easy to collaborate with colleagues inside and outside the organization.

Cons

  • Can be connected well with MS Office tools.
  • Sharing recorded meetings is not great.
  • Able to connect with folks across different organization through Webex.
Webex was widely used in our organization until the MS Teams arrived. Both these have their own advantages but because MS Teams is a Microsoft product the integration to SharePoint and other Microsoft tools is quite efficient. MS Teams also makes sharing, view and download documents quite easy compared to Webex.
Haven't had to use the support quite often as there are not many technical issues that were faced. The first installation process was well implemented and for small queries their FAQ sections serves the purpose.

Webex remains a great product but has not been developed well enough to provide competition to MS Teams. Integration with other tools and a change in user interface will again put this on the leaderboard.
Webex is a good tool for conducting live sessions and large-scale meetings and connecting to people outside your organization. However, the user interface hasn't changed much for a long time. There are a lot of extra features offered by other platforms but they have not come yet to this application.
