Overall Satisfaction with WebEx Meetings

Currently we are using WebEx Meetings as our primary tool for meetings and conferencing both internally and with external vendors and customers. Prior to our company wide WebEx deployment last year we had a variety of tools in our environment for phone conferencing and remote meetings. Consolidating down to one solution allowed us to provide a very stable consistent experience around the globe as well as enabling some significant cost savings.
  • WebEx provides attendees with several options for connecting to meeting audio including computer headsets, 800 and local numbers as well as a call me feature. This makes it easy for people to connect no matter where they are or what device they are using to connect.
  • In our experience the audio and video streams during our meetings have been very stable and smooth. This enables very effective meetings without audio or video interruptions getting in the way.
  • WebEx has many useful features that enable a very strong meeting experience. Audio/Video, Screen Sharing and Whiteboard just to name a few.
  • During our initial deployment we had difficulty installing the client on systems which already had a previous version of WebEx installed. There was no WebEx cleanup utility that worked properly which forced us to write our own to clean previous versions off of systems prior to installing a new client.
  • The WebEx client and server tends to update very frequently which introduced difficulty during our initial deployment. This was especially true with our associates who do not have admin rights on their PC.
  • Technical support during the packaging and deployment stage of our implementation could have been a bit better. We ended up creating our own solutions and resolving issues frequently where WebEx was not able to.
  • WebEx has allowed us to reduce our travel spend while still maintaining the strong working teams with audio and video conferencing.
  • Consolidating web and phone conferencing tools has resulted in significant cost savings around the globe.
  • We have been able to host large scale meetings more frequently than we could previously when travel was involved. This has improved attendance and enables or business initiatives.
Prior to our enterprise wide deployment of WebEx we had to use many different services and tools for phone and web conferencing. Many tools work well, some not so much...But WebEx was always a standout. And because it is a best in class tool we chose it for our enterprise. This is especially true when paired with other solutions such as Jabber.
WebEx Meetings does wonders to enable remote meetings and collaboration with a workforce which is largely dispersed and global in nature. Many of our working teams have members scattered throughout the US as well as around the globe. Having the ability to meet face to face with audio and video conferencing has done wonders to strengthen our teams.
