Overall Satisfaction with Webex Meetings

NTT uses MS Teams internally. My team uses Webex Meetings to collaborate with external vendors such as Cisco employees.

Pros

  • Great audio/video quality over low bandwidth links
  • Remote control feature via Sharing with external vendors
  • Powerful whiteboarding feature

Cons

  • Improve user interface
  • Easier integration into O365
  • Cisco Webex Meeting has no built-in Cast icon
  • Transitioning from legacy Webex platforms to this cloud based version is cumbersome
  • This solution is costlier than some other competing online collaboration platforms
  • Participants can enjoy chat and screen sharing features, which are very helpful.

Enhanced security features, where end to end encryption is also offered. Support for HD video, and audio can be sourced from your phone or computer. File sharing is fully supported. The system menu and user interface are not that friendly. Connecting over non Webex platforms, you may experience audio issues. Webex Meetings is more expensive than its competitors.

Webex Meetings Support

I have not had any issues to report using Webex Meetings so far.

Using Webex Meetings

Webex Meetings does not provide enough audio feedback for users with visual disabilities to properly navigate the tool. Students, faculty, and staff who are blind or have low vision may not be able to use Webex Meetings. Users with motor disabilities that navigate via keyboard, may not be able to navigate the web conferencing session enough to participate fully.
