Overall Satisfaction with Webexpenses

Webexpenses is being used to submit, approve and update on any expenses that we can claim back. It Is currently being used by my sales team and other sales teams within the business too. I imagine some departments including telesales and warehouse staff will not need to use this service.
  • Add new categories
  • Submit easily
  • Display what stage of approval
  • Adding receipts can be awkward and tricky
  • Too much to toggle through that is unclear
  • Site can be 'clunky'
  • Quick and easy to use so takes up less time of the sales persons time
The website itself seems pixelated and slightly dated. I find it can be awkward to navigate around and it seems old fashioned. I think the website could be much simpler for the user as there is a number of tabs on there that wouldn't be needed by the average sales person. I love the map function and find this more modern than the rest of the website.
I personally never needed to use support and would always talk to my line manager first. As long as there is an email address and contact details on the web page should they be needed then that is helpful. These contact details would need to be regularly responded to though.
For me personally, I feel that it can be quick to use, I do love the map function but it can be timely when not needed, I feel like if this was an optional thing that would make it quicker. I think that going between mobile and laptop can be difficult with Webexpenses.
I believe this would meet the requirements of the business as if it wasn't I am sure we would of stopped using it. This is a decision made way above my pay grade but can see how, compared to other systems, this is the preferred website.

Do you think Webexpenses delivers good value for the price?

Not sure

Are you happy with Webexpenses's feature set?

Yes

Did Webexpenses live up to sales and marketing promises?

I wasn't involved with the selection/purchase process

Did implementation of Webexpenses go as expected?

I wasn't involved with the implementation phase

Would you buy Webexpenses again?

Yes

Compared to some other expense systems I have used this is better. I really like the postcode map feature for submitting mileage. The website itself I find a little user unfriendly though. When submitting the claim there is too much information on VAT etc that is not applicable. Adding receipts to mileage claims can be hard as sometimes it pulls of the receipt value rather than staying with the mileage submitted when it is a company car.
