Overall Satisfaction with Webexpenses

We use Webexpenses for claiming mileage and any expenses we need to put through. It saves employees like myself from having to work out their mileage themselves. It is an up to date product for employees. I use it on a monthly basis to claim back any miles i have used for business purposes.

Pros

  • Works out miles drove immediately.
  • Calculates how much you will earn back immediately.
  • Prompt payments.

Cons

  • Having to upload separate receipts for every mileage claim. One receipt should be able to cover the whole of the expenses .
  • A search bar would be beneficial when choosing description to save scrolling for every claim.
  • Set up can look slightly confusing as a first time user. A clearer approach would be better.

Once you know how to use the system, it is easy to navigate however as a first time user it can be confusing to use due to all the little sections you have to complete. However, once shown what to do, it is fine. Just ensure to show new starters through firstly.

As an estate agent, Webexpenses comes massively in handy, as we drive a lot for our job. Claims can filled out for each journey made quickly and easily. As well as mileage claims, you can also claim for anything else you have brought for business purposes (if allowed by company). Your manager can then review this and ensure everything is accurate before submitting the claim. This is also beneficial as a manager to ensure that your employees are only submitting legit claims.
