Overall Satisfaction with Webflow

Webflow is used by our new business and accounts team in conjunction with creative for prototyping new client projects, augmenting client-provided wireframes, and pitching new business concepts. It allows our relatively small team to put together presentation-worthy concepts fairly quickly and allows re-use of templates with easy modifications.
  • Fast layout design
  • Feature-rich prototyping
  • Low barrier to entry (don't have to have extension web experience)
  • Pricing scale puts the highest demand features in the highest tier
  • More baked-in templating would be great
  • We have pitched and been awarded several projects based on fast prototyping
  • Code export is available on the Lite platform
  • We discontinued the Pro platform because it wasn't impacting our success
Webflow falls somewhere in between WordPress as a most basic theme-based platform and HubSpot CMS Hub, which has nearly unlimited capabilities. The ease and pricing are a win for HubSpot but we still use and host sites using WordPress as that is often a client's desire for pricing/stability and name recognition.

Do you think Webflow delivers good value for the price?

Yes

Are you happy with Webflow's feature set?

Yes

Did Webflow live up to sales and marketing promises?

Yes

Did implementation of Webflow go as expected?

Yes

Would you buy Webflow again?

Yes

It is extremely easy to use, especially with available templates and guides. It is used primarily by accounts and creative rather than dev. It is also easy to import/export projects or duplicate them for re-use and modification for another client. While it is rarely the end platform for a deliverable, it is often instrumental in pitching.
I haven't had to engage them from a support perspective; however, there is a considerable user community for tips/ideas/troubleshooting and the like. I believe the Pro plan supports additional resources but we didn't find that the cost justified the outcome. Overall the need for support has been relatively minor.
  • Excellent at building web interfaces, rich graphics, etc. relatively quickly.
  • Layouts are mobile adaptable with ease.
  • Lite version is not suitable for prototyping mobile app environments or complex dev tasks.
