We use Acquia DAM (Widen) to manage brand assets across the marketing department and distribute them to channels including email marketing, social media, and events.

Support is one of the best parts of dealing with Acquia DAM (Widen). The support team is responsive, knowledgeable, and just a pleasure to work with. A+
Acquia DAM (Widen) has helped us move our assets from a variety of systems into a single system with clear governance, versioning, and management. It's a powerful and customizable tool and great for midsize enterprises moving into more mature brand and asset management.
Evaluated against Brandfolder and Bynder, Acquia DAM (Widen) had the best feature set, especially around self-management of metadata and taxonomy, as well as reporting.

Excellent tool for hosting and managing large numbers of assets - video, images, content assets. Great features for role and permission management. Pricey, though, so not the right tool for a small business.
