Overall Satisfaction with Acquia DAM (Widen)

We use Acquia DAM (Widen) mostly as a DAM that also feeds our websites. I find the brand portal option extremely useful for consolidating all our brand assets into an easy to use centralized branding site.

Pros

  • Brand Portals
  • Digital Access Managment
  • Website image feed

Cons

  • Need more customization options in the portals. They are a bit limiting in design.
  • Need better search capabilities.
  • Need better support documentation/training.
  • It has streamlined our workflows significantly.
  • It is extremely well suited for brand consistency across all our companies.
  • The interface is a bit clumsy.
I usually get support in about 24 hours after the request. It hasn't always been the greatest in the past, in fact, it has been hit or miss.
