Overall Satisfaction with Wistia

Wistia is a great hosting platform to organize videos into different projects and maintain control of your content without a big mess. There are different levels of users to give everyone on your team the correct access to your videos. Statistics allow you to see in-depth stats about each individual video. You can leave comments on or off and change the colors and surrounding look of your video player. Many embed options allow you to post your videos on many platforms. Wistia is a truly custom video player that comes at a cost.

We've had performance issues occasionally with Wistia but it's hard to tell if it's on our end via our proxy or on their end. Embed options through some programs have been hit or miss depending on a number of different circumstances.
It's very easy to begin using and fairly easy to master all of the different options that you can use. Very intuitive video player that should be familiar to most users. I've taught many people how to use the software in a little amount of time and I have administered Wistia for about 50 users in our organization for the past 3 years. I only get a question about the software from a user once every couple of months.
I haven't found a video or image format Wistia has not been able to handle. Some software has trouble embedding videos from Wistia but you normally can find a different option to embed the video to do what you're looking for.
Wistia is paid video service that's good for organizations that have restricted internet access and can't use free to use services such as YouTube. Varieties of user roles and video customization options allow for lots of freedom for an organization but the steep upfront cost can be overwhelming for small budgets and organizations.
