Overall Satisfaction with Wrike

My team and I use Wrike to manage all phases of our projects. From sales entering in a design request first and all the way through to production. Wrike ensures that each phase of a project gets done efficiently and in a timely manner. We use Wrike to also communicate between departments to stay updated on what the next steps will be for a project.

Pros

  • Project management
  • Document sharing
  • Communication between departments within the company

Cons

  • Searching for past tasks is difficult
  • Setting due dates is a bit confusing
  • Email preferences
  • Great for project management
  • Keeps all departments organized
  • Keeps everyone updated
Wrike was what my company used when I first started. I suppose there was something similar at my last job but it was not very efficient like Wrike is. Other softwares only allow you to receive tasks and then all communication is outside of the software through email or phone calls. Wrike allows you to communicate internally and easily.

Do you think Wrike delivers good value for the price?

Yes

Are you happy with Wrike's feature set?

Yes

Did Wrike live up to sales and marketing promises?

I wasn't involved with the selection/purchase process

Did implementation of Wrike go as expected?

I wasn't involved with the implementation phase

Would you buy Wrike again?

Yes

Wrike is excellent for sharing documents for review internally within the company. We use it often for quote reviews which helps streamline the process. Wrike can be annoying when you been mentioned one time in a project, let's say by accident, and then you are kind of stuck receiving notifications on the task until it is complete.

Wrike Mobile App

I use the Wrike app for keeping up with the status of projects and at what stage me and my team are at within each project. The Wrike app allows me to and my team to stay updated in real time on the statuses of projects and what revisions or issues (if any) we might run into from a project to project basis.
I tend to use the approvals tab the most as it is what we use to know if a quote or other project task is approved. We also use the the time tracking to help keep up with how much time is being spent on each project as that allows us to charge a client more accurately for design time.
The project status is the most valuable to me and my team as it is how we keep up with where we are/ the status of a project. This also allows us to know quickly when a task is approved or needs revisions which is great because time is money.
I give the Wrike app a 9 out of 10 because, as far as other project management apps go, I find Wrike's to be quite user friendly by comparison. The only reason I do not give a 10 out of 10 is because it is still not as good as the web browser version but that might just be because I use the web browser more often.
The Wrike mobile app has allowed me to stay connected and productive because I now get notifications directly from the app on my phone so when I am not in the office in front of my computer, I now know immediately when a task has been finished/approved which makes for an easier workflow.
I've learned that email notifications received via your smart phone are not as reliable as a direct mobile app notification. This is because email notifications can be delayed compared to a notification coming directly from the app so it is a must to have the mobile app. I can't imagine work life without the app.
