Use Cases and Deployment Scope

We use Xactly Incent to calculate Sales compensation. It is a very powerful tool. I like the reporting options. Easy to set up all people and position, hierarchical and named relationships. Clear credit and commission rules. Easy to impersonate and view the statement to check what sales rep see to understand their inquiries.

Wish the credits can be downloaded YTD instead of one period at a time.
Wish more fields were available to add custom fields.

Easy to send the plan documents to sales reps.

For larger companies, this is very well suited. For smaller companies, it is a very powerful tool and most of the functionality will not be used as effectively as larger companies. Sometimes sales rep find it difficult to use this system as they can’t view the credits clearly in the file form. They have to drill down in the statement for each period to reconcile.
