Overall Satisfaction with Xero

For small business accounting. Tax returns, business activity statements, invoicing, linking sales transactions from Shopify to Xero to measure performance.

Pros

  • Links shopify very seamlessly via applications like A2x
  • Makes creating invoices easy
  • Ensures all sales are filtered through from Shopify and broken down into GST, discounts, sales

Cons

  • Lower price point for small businesses
  • Linking shopify without the need for A2x
  • Improve interface so it could directly link to ATO
  • Profitability analysis
  • Reduced human errors
  • Making tax returns seamless
Xeros interface and functionality are much superior to QuickBooks for people who aren’t used to or are unfamiliar with accounting.
Very seamless and easy to use for people who are new to accounting and financial management for small businesses
Xeros cloud deployment has helped my organization save on overheads and improve access to accounting processes for me and my accountant.
It has been very easy to integrate with my Shopify however it isn’t perfect as I still needed my accountant to assist me as not enough information is readily available to help with this integration
