Overall Satisfaction with Zerto

Zerto is deployed across multiple data centers and allows for VM replication, migration, and recovery. Zerto is managed by our Systems Engineering team within the IT department. Zerto addresses our business continuity need for a low RPO and fast RTO, while being storage agnostic. Zerto has an easy-to-use interface that allows new team members to quickly learn the system and perform recovery options. We successfully perform disaster recovery testing and Zerto plays a large role in that success.

  • Integration with cloud!
  • Moving a VM from one protection group to another could be simplified.
  • I would like to see an executive-style report of recovery and testing for upper management.
  • The ability to deploy Zerto as a virtual appliance, without the need for a windows server.
  • Zerto has consistently performed as expected, assuring management of our ability to recover our most critical servers in a timely fashion.
  • The cost of Zerto per VM is on par with other solutions, but much easier to use!
  • Zerto has become a critical component of our recovery process.
  • Zerto support has been good when our engineers have an issue that they are unable to resolve themselves.
Support is quick and is able to resolve our issues when we call.

Zerto is simple to use and set up. The tight integration with VMware and easy deployment was welcomed by our staff. The HTML5 interface is clean and easy to navigate. Overall the product just works!
After using competing products I do feel Zerto is the leader in this space. The setup is easy and you can be up and running in no time. It integrates well with multiple virtual platforms as well as the cloud for hybrid recovery scenarios. The integration of a backup solution might be useful for a small to medium business looking to eliminate multiple products but may fall short as an enterprise solution. Zerto does check off many of the boxes for a full-featured solution and should be a strong consideration for any IT department looking to simplify their Business Continuity Plan.
