Overall Satisfaction with Ziflow

We originally came across Ziflow when looking for a solution for one of our customers who needed to annotate drawings onsite and send between staff members for approval instead of emails, this was the best tool for the job as it kept the current drawings completely up to date. We liked it so much we decided to also start using to speed up the process of getting quotes or estimates authorised when sending to customers as the back and forth on emails always took too long. We love the fact that it works across a wide range of document types and not just stuck with its own format. We use it with pdfs, word and cad drawings.

It has made the process of moving content throughout the business much quicker and more efficient and has also led to less mistakes. It has removed the requirements of sending the same documents multiple time to different people via email and then hope they all have the the updated versions when a change is made.
Getting approvals on a document, user guide, brochure used to be a total pain as it would be created then sent to either the teams or customer depending on where it was in the process, then wait for them to get the email (hoping the spam filter hadn’t eaten it) then read, digest, comment or action and return the files. Any changes had to be then made and repeat. Now it can be done all at the same time and recorded as completed for everybody.

Ziflow has a better approval process but we use Markup Hero for making changes to CAD drawings as this is a similar but also different system so we use both and keep them for their own unique usefulness. When needing to get approval on a drawing, we use Markup Hero first then run it through Ziflow to keep track of the full process.
It is best suited for approval processes and file sharing when commenting is required from multiple sources. This is what the software was made for and does it without any hassle or problems. This system for monitoring which files still need to be approved, which are progressing and which are completed is very straightforward and doesn’t require any in-depth training.
