Overall Satisfaction with ZipRecruiter
I currently use ZipRecruiter to post any open positions that my company has a need to fill. I am the only one out of my Human Resource department to use it but they all have access to it if needed. It's a great resource to review resumes of applicants and connect with any candidates if needed. I am able to make any changes to my open positions at any time if needed which is nice because if we are not getting many candidates we can try to make it more appealing to a certain pool of talent.
Pros
- Quickly posts open positions.
- Send my job openings to other great job sites.
Cons
- Customer service always trying to up sell when you just want help.
- Resume search seems to be outdated.
- Quick hire-in rate.
- Less time spent on recruiting.
I also use Indeed which is the nations leading job site with millions of job listings and millions of applicants. Applicants can upload their resumes or make a resume on Indeed and then apply to any position for free. As an applicant seeking employer, I can filter through these applicants, connect with them through Indeed and even send them rejection letters on the website as well. Indeed does a great job with up-to-date applicants which searching through resumes as well. ZipRecruiter does a great job with competing with Indeed by have a customer service representative available to chat instantly if needed. They can help you with getting your job more applicants by tailoring the position to certain talent pools. Also, ZipRecruiter has extra tools to make your position urgent which a great way to let applicants know you are ready to hire as soon as possible. No one likes a lengthy hiring process.
