Overall Satisfaction with Zix Email Encryption (ZixEncrypt)
Zix is deployed globally across all our users and departments. First NBC Bank uses Zix to secure email between our clients and bankers. We have the solution integrated with our DLP solution to look for sensitive information and transparently encrypt email. We rely on the transparent TLS encryption, but the solution can also fall back to a traditional portal solution where the recipient must create a username and password.
- Transparent encryption with other Zix clients and any email server that can negotiate TLS.
- Simple deployment options with virtual, physical, or hosted options.
- Zix can provide email protection with encryption and also email security with SPAM and content filtering.
- Knowledgeable deployment engineers helped us deploy the solution on the phone without a costly specialist needed.
- Branding the "Secured by Zix" stamp the solution places on secured messages would be a nice feature.
- Reduced customer complaints due to transparent encryption (customers hate user names and passwords).
- Trust in solution and the fact that it will try to encrypt any message via TLS if possible.

Evaluating Zix Email Encryption (ZixEncrypt) and Competitors
Yes - We replaced Proofpoint for email security with Zix and also Symantec Enterprise Vault for email archiving. Looking for more affordable solutions and wanted to combine email sec and archiving into a single solution.
I would not change. The major players have remained fairly consistent. I might look harder at Microsoft native solutions as they consistently get better over time.

Zix helped us perform our first e-discovery request as we were not familiar with the solution. They also assisted in a M&A when we needed to divest all email from a group of users. Amazing post sales support. And the pre-sales resources stay engaged.
