Overall Satisfaction with Zoom
I use it personally to teach online classes for a private academy. But I've also implemented it with other companies to provide training, meetings, and webinars since the Covid-19 emergency began.
- Share multifunctional screen.
- Connection with multiple calendars.
- Annotation tools for everyone.
- Continuous security improvements.
- Chat. It could be a little more advanced.
- Integrate participant area, chat and surveys in a single panel (improved user experience).
- Option of personalization of annotation tools, to have only those that will be used and not the entire existing range.
- I have managed to maintain my work rhythm thanks to Zoom.
- I have managed to open new groups.
- Many colleagues have decided to use it thanks to my usage comments.
We have used it to maintain communication, schedule regular meetings to present progress, or assign tasks.
Everyone has positive and negative things, as expected.
Personally, I prefer Zoom-ing because both the free and paid versions are highly customizable, and despite many rumors, they are constantly working to improve the product (including security). Something that I really liked from the start was the ease of opening an account, installing (multi-device) and starting to use, which others (like Teams) is totally cumbersome. In this sense, Google Meet is very good, but it is not as customizable as Zoom. It seems to me that the quality / price ratio in Zoom also plays in favor.
