Overall Satisfaction with Zoom

We primarily use Zoom to host large internal meetings or to host client meetings. We use Zoom across the entire company. Zoom has been very helpful in the COVID era where we moved all meetings to a virtual setting.
  • Ability to handle 100+ participants
  • Breakout rooms for smaller groups within a meeting is a great feature
  • Integration with google calendar
  • Security settings are great
  • Audio is sometimes choppy
  • lack of a plug-in or API
  • Lack of a dedicated US phone number with a Zoom Account
  • No cap on number of participants
  • breakout rooms
  • ability to record meetings
  • screenshare with minimal effort
  • Improved efficiencies and time savings
  • increased security and privacy
  • Meetings are also compliant with regulations
Zoom is much better than Google Hangouts Meet and Cisco Webex. Google hangouts has a limit on number of participants and doesn't have the ability to breakout participants into groups. Also, google hangouts have been buggy for a very very long time. Additionally, we need a google account to use hangouts. One cannot participate without a gmail account. WebEx is just an archaic tool that was never improved. Zoom scores higher compared to both the tools on user friendliness, reliability, features and general look and feel.

ZoomInfo, Microsoft 365 (formerly Office 365), Dropbox
Zoom is well suited to host large meetings, and specifically when meetings are long and need multiple sub groups to discuss and come back to a larger meeting.

What is Zoom's biggest strength is also it's biggest weakness. Audio quality is choppy in large meetings and can be a hassle.
