Zoom Workplace is Wicked
Overall Satisfaction with Zoom Workplace
We use Zoom Workplace for hybrid work support. We also use it in the IT department for supporting users remotely. Zoom Rooms target a key issue by bridging the gap between remote workers and onsite employees. We have multiple Zoom Rooms setup in our organization that are used all day every day. The product is particularly useful to us because of the low cost of a Zoom Room. Compared to older systems, the amount of money we spend, and the quality that we receive, makes Zoom Workplace and Zoom Rooms a high-quality addition to our software suite.
Pros
- Supports Remote Work
- High quality video and audio
- Ease of use for less technical employees
- Large feature set
- Growing platform
Cons
- Having the ability to opt out completely from certain aspects of workplace such as the calendar, email, etc. Allow us to boil Zoom back down to being only about meetings. All the extra tabs are not always necessary.
- When scheduling a meeting, having an easy way to add a room as a cohost without having to book the room via the scheduler would be very helpful.
- Zoom Rooms have saved us money. With our advanced conference room setup, we no longer need to contract A/V for important meetings which require high quality audio.
- Zoom Rooms, and Zoom Meetings save us money by enabling remote collaboration. Without it, there would be an immense loss of productivity.
