Overall Satisfaction with Zuora

Zuora is the primary revenue and subscription management system at Surf Air. Zuora manages 100% of our invoicing and billings and is the primary source of revenue related data. Zuora manages the complexity of subscription management and invoicing that was previously managed through another third party and our home-grown reservation system together. At Surf Air, Zuora is used by the finance, technology, customer service and product strategy teams.

Prior to Zuora, Surf Air used Braintree as a subscription management system. We moved to Zuora due to the platform's robust product catalog capabilities, superior invoicing and reporting. Certain reports and monthly close could be made easier but the process is far better than our previous capabilities with Braintree.
Zuora is very well suited for companies that are wishing to manage subscription based products. Zuora has the capability to act as a company's primary revenue and invoicing system or it is suitable to be one of many revenue generating systems depending on the products provided. Zuora's reporting tools are solid but lack some ease and clarity. A company may find it easier to extract data into a warehouse and then manipulate separately.
