Payroll Relief vs. Workday Workforce Management

Payroll Relief can be customized to work for just about any business. Electronic tax payment and e-filing services are not available in all states so the system may be less appropriate in jurisdictions where there is a lack of automation on the back-end. This lack of automation can be overcome by a payroll processing provider that has good internal processes and an understanding of how to handle their clients' filings/payments directly with these unsupported states

If you are looking for an HR software to help manage payroll and time sheets for employees this works well. it also makes Open enrollment much easier and pushing out employee training tasks is nice to keep track of who needs to complete the training.

• The system supports unlimited pay types so it is easy to customize the system for our clients
• The system automates the filing of most tax forms and W-2s

• Submit personal time off for supervisors to review and approve or decline.

• The site navigation can be confusing.
• The system lacks HR functionality. There is no automated employee onboarding option. PTO can be tracked but there is no way for employees to request time off from their employee portal.
• Payroll processors do not get a dashboard showing a list of payrolls that are scheduled to be processed each day like some other systems do.

• The tasks function is somewhat clunky, and its hard to see who the task is sent to next in order to follow up with them.
• In-process referrals don't always show up in the "My Referrals" tab
• Filters on tasks don't always work.

It’s a great tool, but isn’t always intuitive and a lot of stuff seems hidden and you have to jump through different one off clicks to get to a key area. Because navigation is hard at times and the layouts are plan those are the main reason why it’s not a perfect tool

Payroll relief is more customizable and easier to use than some other systems we have reviewed. The fee structure is better suited for our client base as well.

ADP seemed more focused on the sales process as opposed to the product and features themselves. Ramp wa a very comparable option, it was less user friendly but offered some easier use for expenses and was a better option for the price. Workday Workforce Management however was all around best option however.
