Agile CRM

Agile seems suitable if you set up correctly from the get go. Once you have over 10000 contacts it's hard to clean up the list e.g tags. If you want to edit or delete them how can you?

Nimble

Nimble is well suited for businesses with up 50 employees wanting to ensure that their users can see all contact with a person in the database, whether they are using a desktop, notebook or mobile device. This helps to build better relationships with contacts and answer questions.Nimble is easy to integrate with 150+ apps due to PieSync being its native 2-way sync integration tool. This reduces duplication of data and saves time in its management. It also helps with businesses looking to integrate with tools like Xero or Quickbooks accounting, and with marketing automation tools like 366 Degrees and Mailchimp. It's perhaps not ideal for businesses wanting to segregate data between divisions or business units. However, this can be managed by taking subscriptions under different business units and the addition of staff subscriptions.

Pros

  • Tagging clients and sending out emails to groups. It beats any e-mail server by a mile.
  • Good integration with gmail so that my clients are being auto-imported whenever I send an email from my ordinary email server.
  • Great simple website integration with forms, landing pages, lead behavior capturing etc. - you really get a lot of functionality for your money.

  • Organizations (or individuals) can connect multiple email addresses to Nimble, which is possibly unique but certainly useful. As an individual, you could, therefore, manage your business and private life in one database and you could manage additional organizations as well, if required. This saves having multiple databases to manage.
  • The database can be segmented in many ways but Tags are the most powerful. Adding a Tag to a contact record enables that contact to belong to that group or segment. Any Contact can belong to multiple groups. Using the built-in synchronization engine, Contacts can be added to mailing lists in separate systems such as MailChimp simply by adding the appropriate Tag to the record in Nimble.
  • Using Nimble's widget means that if you see a Contact mentioned online or you receive an email from a Contact, you can simply hit "add to Nimble". But in the process, you can build a complete record such as the name, address, phone number, email, website etc. which saves a huge amount of time and is the reason why the data in CRM's that don't provide that functionality is generally not up to date.

Cons

  • The learning process is more challenging and takes longer to get used to the way things are handled in Agile CRM.
  • Agile CRM needs to improve their testing and preview options for different campaign segments.
  • There are some user interface tasks that could be made more user friendly such as setting up email templates and forms templates.

  • Not all of the social feeds are included… Hello. Linkedin? Where are you?
  • I really get frustrated that I don't have more API connections and the ability to populate Nimble with outside websites and forms. CTA captures information from other sources. Access - we need access!!!
  • I would love to see tools like Slack and Asana or other project management tools allowed into the platform.

There was a little bit of a learning curve and some bumps along the way to managing this platform, but AgileCRM appears to be responsive to any challenges that arise, which I consider to be of vital importance.

It's truly a great system if you get it for the right reasons. Don't expect it to do everything a mid market organization would require but for any small business or mid to large organizations which would like to integrate to it for the social insights capabilities this is a leading solution which can add value immediately

In terms of ease of use, this is a very intuitive system to get around in today. I have used many contact management systems over the years and this one is quite nicely laid out and easy to navigate for sales people and managers in the field to get data and use it to manage the insights found in the system.

Reliability and Availability

The training sessions are very helpful, because you have specialist that is available to answer any questions, guide you and coach you on how to dominate a certain feature of the platform. That being said,Whenever I have an issue that needs to be resolved, I can send email or call a support line. I usually use the support line.

Each section of the AgileCRM platform has an instructional video that describes in detail all of the features of that section. I found this to be very instructional way to learn about each section. Whenever I had more questions, I could always schedule a conference call with a tutor..

Alternatives Considered

Much easier to set up against Zoho.User-friendly against Zoho.Team acceptance against Zoho.

I selected Nimble for the group message integration and social media integration. The other tools that I looked at had restrictions that kept me from the ease of managing my customers. Prospecting is a big part of my business, and having the triggers for contact from Nimble is very helpful to me. I used Insightly for the better part of a year before giving Nimble a try. I knew within 2 weeks that I was going to switch 100% over to Nimble.

Return on Investment

  • All contact data is in one spot
  • You can see a detailed view of each contact's deal history
  • It is a more affordable option than some CRMs

  • I am still in the early months of using Nimble, so not much to speak of on ROI yet. I have already been reminded of a client that I had lost touch with, reached out and landed a gig within 2 weeks.
