Agile CRM

Agile CRM is well suited if an existing customer business process is defined or drafted thoroughly. Agile allowed automating workflows and marketing to improve lead management and suppress tedious tasks so users can focus on more important matters. However, Agile CRM costs can increase significantly if you want additional features and customizations. If you know what you're doing with CRMs and marketing automation or customer contracts and management then AgileCRM is worth a try.

Nimble

Nimble saves work by saving data entry so is perfect for companies where staff are less than keen to keep the CRM up to date. Nimble also connects to multiple social media accounts so that staff can keep track of contacts' social activity without having to leave Nimble. Nimble is extensible with the addition of fields and lists to help manage and analyze your business. Many CRM's have extensible data but none help build your contact records for you.Perhaps the most powerful feature is the built-in two-way synchronization with leading SaaS systems such as iCloud or MailChimp. This allows you to keep all of your contact data in sync at all times, once set up.Like any CRM, it is not suitable for organisations or individuals who are not prepared to learn how to use it and then to use it correctly, but Nimble is perhaps better than most CRMs in this respect.

Pros

  • Easy to add new contacts whether manually or automatically as they fill in forms on site.
  • The banners feature is useful to flag important messages regarding certain users.
  • The email reporting is easy to see CTR open rate etc.

  • Nimble tracks your interactions with new relationships on social media. So if you met someone on Twitter, you can see those conversations on Nimble - you can see the evolution of the relationship in your email and ultimately in the deal that you've created with that prospect.
  • Nimble has an amazing Chrome extension that curates all the online information on the person you're connecting with so that you can leverage areas of common interest and connection.
  • Nimble's "DEALS" feature is a super simple sales pipeline that you can easily manage through its drag and drop feature.
  • Now, Nimble will even find emails for connections and relationships you've started on social media so that you continue the relationship via email.

Cons

  • Reporting is lacking.
  • The more features needed, the pricier the plan.
  • Testing options are lacking.

  • I'm not sure about this - but Nimble USED to be able to pull all your interactions from ALL social channels. I'm not sure that this is the case anymore. LinkedIn has made it impossible (but perhaps with Nimble's partnership with Microsoft - this will improve).
  • Even with their integration with Gmail, Chrome and Outlook, to still HAVE to head over to Nimble to track your pipeline - no getting around that right now.

There was a little bit of a learning curve and some bumps along the way to managing this platform, but AgileCRM appears to be responsive to any challenges that arise, which I consider to be of vital importance.

It's truly a great system if you get it for the right reasons. Don't expect it to do everything a mid market organization would require but for any small business or mid to large organizations which would like to integrate to it for the social insights capabilities this is a leading solution which can add value immediately

In terms of ease of use, this is a very intuitive system to get around in today. I have used many contact management systems over the years and this one is quite nicely laid out and easy to navigate for sales people and managers in the field to get data and use it to manage the insights found in the system.

Reliability and Availability

The training sessions are very helpful, because you have specialist that is available to answer any questions, guide you and coach you on how to dominate a certain feature of the platform. That being said,Whenever I have an issue that needs to be resolved, I can send email or call a support line. I usually use the support line.

Online Training

Each section of the AgileCRM platform has an instructional video that describes in detail all of the features of that section. I found this to be very instructional way to learn about each section. Whenever I had more questions, I could always schedule a conference call with a tutor..

Alternatives Considered

Saleforce - Too expensive.SugarCRM - Versatile. Free. But Slow.Filemaker - Originally designed my own CRMWhich gave me full control of all functionality. But having an online system that is hosted in the cloud provides considerable advantages particularly when allowing access to remote users.

Nimble is a 1:1 social CRM -- it's not an email marketing system (although they integrate well with others). Salesforce - is amazing for reporting -- but to get some of the functions, I think it might be beyond most SMB budgets. Nimble is easier to use.SimplyCast - integrates with Nimble, they have amazing support and you can actually PAY THEM to implement things for you - but again, when it comes to collecting social engagement -- not so hot.

This products Starts with a free Limited version. You can upgradeTo an affordable paid version with minimal features. There's also an enterprise version which is what I have. It's much more expensive, however it allows me to access the full range of features available.

Return on Investment

  • Helped business because there was a better understanding of the size and profiles of my leads
  • Negative impact - leads were labeled as hard bounce and couldn't send until a lead was deleted and added again. VERY time consuming. Luckily this doesn't happen much.
  • Negative impact - Fake leads are added on a daily basis. AgileCRM doesn't have a double confirmation of added leads. But I believe this is normal in many CRMs and can be managed.

  • Nimble helps me keep conversations alive - I've been able to follow up with potential clients months later and reconnect.
