Brand24 vs. Reputation.com

Brand24 is perfect for a company that wants to build up its social media presence. It's great to know when our organization is mentioned online so I can engage with other companies. I like the mobile app but if there was a way to be notified via phone with it that would make it even better.

I think Reputation.com is best suited for enterprise applications where you want big-picture results plus the ability to drill-down to specific locations. It is a good solution where you want to consolidate vendors as they have multiple components. Of course, certain components are more of a core competency for them than others. But in general, it's a strong solution.

• The interface of Brand24 is extremely easy to use and easy to understand for beginnings or mid-level emoloyees
• The results in Brand24 are organized clearly in buckets that you can either PDF or download the raw data
• Brand24 looks at several social platforms rather than just 1 or 2, like some other tools are limited to

I would start with Mention as opposed to beginning with Brand24. We originally used Mention but the price was increasing year-over-year so we wanted to try a cheaper alternative. We eventually did go back to Mention after Brand24, due to its ease of use and it was also easier to monitor our brand with Mention in the end.

Reputation.com has a better price point. Reputation has other tools that made us choose them over Binary Fountain. There is another company, although the name escapes me, that has similar services to Reputation, but they put a large focus on Yelp and Apple Maps, as opposed to Reputation who puts an emphasis on Google and Google maps.
